Abstract

The aim of this study was to analyze the content of the probability problems included for the university entrance tests inAndalucía (Spain) in the specialty of Social Sciences. We analyzed the testsproposedfrom 2003 to 2014. The probability problems have been solved and through a semiotic analysis we identified the experiments included, the type of probability requested (simple, compound and conditional),thetheorems required inits solution and the contexts used in the problem. An elementary statistical study of the frequency of each object served toconcludeabout the presence and the difficulty of the same. These results can be used to improve these tests and prepare the students todeal with them
